I like fluffy pink bunnies and stinky boy armpits.

I like the smell of whiskey next to my bed in the morning.

I like being wrapped up with a cute boy, and discovering another cute boy is joining us.

I like the stars overhead on a moonless night, with faeries dancing naked around a fire.

I like going to "movie night" at a friends house and spending no time watching the movie, but a whole lot of time drinking red wine and kissing people.

Wind in my face just reminds me it's time to go back into the bar.

    There is nothing better than
    a hug from a child,
warm socks out of the drier,
    lying naked in clean sheets,
    slow dancing,
when an animal makes you its bed,
    hot baths and candlelight.
This makes me happy to think about.

Getting off early from work (to beat the traffic) and taking the Malibu Canyon route (why not, you've got the time) and seeing the wide open, blue ocean once you finally clear the mountains. There was a bright, sunny, blue sky and enough wind to cause tiny white caps....And along the coast drive, seeing a girl dance out of her sunroof of her car parked along the coast, singing, VERY CUTE SURFERS, taking off their wetsuits by the side of the road (and you wonder, how do they get this free time to enjoy this beautiful day?), and a whole host of other people living a slow, enjoyable pace of life against these blue, rolling waves.....

I have always loved Malibu because it represents a sort of wild freedom of life and in the past 30 plus years, it hasn't really changed all THAT much....
