    Sounds a bit like a Starhawk Sci fi book called the "Fifth Sacred Thing"

    That coup won't entail tearing up the streets to plant terraced gardens, the creation of a mass transit system with cable cars, and a war with Christian Fundamentalists in LA... will it?
